'My son definitely didn't think I was coming home'
'A super human effort to save my life', that's how one man from Rutland has described the staff at Leicester's Glenfield Hospital.
Stephen Gannon was an extremely fit, long-distance cycling enthusiast and fell seriously ill with coronavirus, in fact at one point he didn't think he'd make it.
Following hospitalisation, the 61-year-old was entered into clinical trials that put him on a path to recovery.
Ady Dayman caught up with Stephen to find out more.
