Downing Street has announced 'immediate steps' aimed at improving safety for women and girls in the wake of the death of Sarah Everard.
The Safer Streets Fund is being increased to Β£45m which will be available for improvements to CCTV and street lighting. Ministers say they'll also work to improve safety around bars, clubs and pubs.
