'One of the biggest mass casualty events I've ever seen'
On 4 August, a massive blast devastated the Beirut port area. A huge store of ammonium nitrate in a warehouse is thought to have been the cause of the explosion.
The devastation stretches for miles. At least 180 were killed, 6 thousand were wounded, and hundreds of thousands have been left homeless.
Well one man from Rutland is at the centre of the recovery.
David Anderson is a Health Advisor with charity UK-Med and flew within days of the explosion to Lebanon.
