'Ensure 20% of Covid-response funds for children'
Hundreds of migrant child labourers have been seen leaving cities to return to their villages under India’s lockdown. Most are hired to work illegally in small factories making bricks, bangles, shoes or sarees. But many factories are shut due to the coronavirus pandemic. WorklifeIndia’s Tulika Bhatnagar spoke to Nobel laureate Kailash Satyarthi - who has rescued millions of child workers - on the growing scale of the problem during the coronavirus crisis.
