Video captures power station chimney demolition
The moment the towering chimney of an old power station was demolished has been caught on video.
Hundreds of people watched as the landmark in Dartford, Kent, came tumbling down after a "powerful boom".
Littlebrook Power Station was situated on the south bank of the river, next to the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge and the Dartford Tunnel.
Purfleet resident Phil Church, who watched the demolition, said: "You could feel the blast from across the river."
