Pioneering rugby star Gareth Thomas will take on a grueling 500 mile bike ride from Cardiff Castle to the P&J Arena in Aberdeen. The challenge? To deliver the Sports Personality of the Year trophy to the live awards show in time to be presented to this year’s winner.
Gareth will cycle on his trusty road bike and a four-seater bike. He’ll be joined by friends along the way who’ll cheer him on and give him a boost by cycling alongside him in the extra seats.
