The presenter of a new 5 Live podcast about recovery has spoken about the moment her mum poured her final drink before she started her alcohol withdrawal.

Melissa Rice is one of two presenters on Hooked: The Unexpected Addicts,which recently won The Rachael Bland New Podcast Award.

In the first episode, now available on Â鶹ԼÅÄ Sounds, Melissa explained how her mum was told by doctors to help her when she reached ‘rock bottom’.
