Lyrics:
I tell you only about the small war
The homesickness I have.
Yesterday I thought I wouldn’t see you again.
Not knowing how to pray, I prayed.
I should not tell you about last night,
The sky was moaning in a thunderstorm.
And I’m so lean I no longer fit in the garb.
A donkey with a wide pack-saddle.
Tell me about the living, to distract me
Tell me about the living, to distract me
My love, I slept in a trench.
Standing in the rain like a vine.
And even dreamed that you’d already forgotten me
Not knowing how to dream, I dreamed
No one tells me when this will end.
Your parents deserve to see you well married.
A good man with a job and a hoe
Would be better than a lost soul.
Tell me about the living, to distract me
Tell me about the living, to distract me
Tell me about the living, to distract me
Tell me about the living, to distract me
