Sam Firth's film Field Notes on Love is an essay love poem told in the third person, a celebration of a spectrum of ways of being and of woodland ecosystems. Exploring the relationship between two people, the filmmaker and her husband, and the woods around their home, the film charts attempts to express the different ways two people see and hear the world around them.
