Northampton is making efforts to become a "dementia-friendly" town with a "Memory Day" being held in the town centre, organised by the University of Northampton.

Northampton is making efforts to become a "dementia-friendly" town with a "Memory Day" being held in the town centre, organised by the University of Northampton. It's thought as many as 8,000 people in Northamptonshire are living with dementia, and that number is growing.

The annual Spirit of Corby Awards, organised by Corby Borough Council, are awarded to people who've done something exceptional in the town.
