US puts missile defences in South Korea

The US placed anti-missile systems in South Korea, in response to threats from the North.

There's been a great deal of talk about how to counter the threat of nuclear attacks by North Korea, but this week the United States took some concrete action: it started installing anti-missile defence systems at a site in South Korea. But as Steve Evans told us from Seoul, the United States is offering talks, as well as the threat of military action.
