Ed Butler speaks to local journalist Eldson Chagara about a crisis in the country's healthcare system brought on by the resulting lack of funds, and challenges Finance Minister Goodall Gondwe to demonstrate that the government is serious about bringing those responsible for corruption to account.
And Jamie Hitchen of the Africa Research Institute in London explains what aid agencies are doing to help Malawi, while in many cases bypassing the country's government altogether.
