Brexit Racism in Leicester, Red Hill Roundabout & Space Seeds: The Result!

Both the Chief Constable and the Police and Crime Commissioner for Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland are this morning calling for calm as inquiries continue into hate crimes reported since last week's EU referendum. Since the vote a week ago, there's been a SMALL number of reported incidents.
A busy traffic roundabout on the boundary between Leicester and Birstall which, for years, has proved a favourite spot for travellers to camp on illegally, is gradually being reclaimed by nature! Several times a year, groups of travellers set up home temporarily in the middle of Red Hill Roundabout, sometimes causing damage.
Over the past couple of months we've been following the progress of a group of intrepid primary school scientists from the village of Thrussington, who've been growing rocket plants from seeds which were sent to space. It was one of the projects supported by Tim Peake during his mission to the International Space Station. Thousands of seeds were sent into space and then returned to be grown at schools across the country.
