Greater support needs to be on offer to victims of sexual assault in Leicester and Leicestershire. That's the view of one victim of an alleged attempted rape who claims she's struggled to overcome her harrowing ordeal because she's finding it difficult to access professional counselling.

The Chairman of the English Football Association, Greg Dyke, says he's seriously worried about the security arrangements for this week's Euro 2016 matches in France. Russia play in Lille tomorrow - the same city where England fans also due to gather before their game in nearby Lens, on Thursday. Rival fans of the two sides clashed violently at the weekend.

Now, dozens of Leicestershire schoolchildren are this morning being helped across the road by a lady who is one of the Queen's favourite lollipop ladies! Over the weekend it was announced that Myra Brodie is to be given a British Empire Medal in the Queen's Birthday Honours.
