Leicester City Songs!
ow its fair to say that we here at Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Leicester have been offered a fair few number of Leicester City related songs to play on the airwaves in recent weeks.
They've ranged from powerful ballads, to dancey dilly dongs and even reggae remixes! But none of them compare to the one which listener, and Enderby band player, Stewart Osgood has dusted off from the record box. He's given us a 45-inch vinyl of a song entitled 'champions', which was sung by the City team during the promotion winning 1979/80 season. It also features an interview with then Manager Jock Wallace.
Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Leicester's Dave Andrews has been speaking to Club Historian John Hutchinson about it.
