Walking the Via Dolorosa
What does the Via Dolorosa mean to pilgrims and to Christians living in Jerusalem?
Every Friday at 3pm, Franciscan monks lead pilgrims from all around the world through Jerusalem's streets along the Via Dolorosa, the legendary route Jesus walked on his way to being crucified, carrying his cross. The programme follows the pilgrims' progress, stopping at some of the stations along the trail and listening to accounts of what these places mean to people.
