Ambulance Delay
The family of an 80 year old woman from Humberstone has told Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Leicester of their anger after she had to wait two hours for an ambulance.
Gloria Joseph fractured her hip when she fell on Monday night, but then had to lay there in agony. East Midlands Ambulance Service has told us that their system was under extreme pressure that night with an urgent care call being received every 37 seconds. Gloria's son, Conrad Dore, has been telling Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Leicester's Bridget Blair about what he says was a very frightening experience for her and her family.
