It's often said that politicians are getting younger, but in one north Leicestershire village some of them haven't even reached their 12th Birthday.

The Parish council in the Ellistown area has set up a Youth section where young people gather to debate issues which mean a lot to them locally.

The youth council discusses everything from play areas to internet safety and they're hoping to recruit more members to ensure young people get a say in their community.
