80g plúr
125g siúcra

Úscra fanaile nó 25g siúcra fanaile
60g im, ina chiúbanna fuaraithe
500g fraocháin gorma

Déan meascán an Clafoutis; is ionann é, a bheag nó a mhór, agus fuidreamh crêpe: téigh an bainne agus an t-im i bpota. Cuir 3 ubh, 2 bhuíocán uibhe agus 125g siúcra i mbabhla agus gread le chéile.
Doirt an bainne te agus an t-im isteach. Measc go maith iad. Cuir an t-úscra fanaile agus pinse den salann mara isteach.
Criathraigh an plúr isteach i mbabhla, measc go mall agus go maith. Grátáil beagán craicinn liomóide isteach ann.
Lena linn sin, téigh uisce agus siúcra le chéile i bpota le sioróip a dhéanamh do na fraocháin gorma. Nuair a bheas an tsioróip réidh, cuir na fraocháin inti.
Faigh stán císte. Cuir im agus plúr ar bhun agus ar thaobhanna an stáin. Cuir meascán na bhfraochán ar an bhun. Ansin doirt meascán an Clafoutis ar a bharr agus bácáil in oigheann réamhthéite go ceann 30-40 bomaite ag 180 céim.
Clafoutis aux Myrtilles (Calfoutis with Blueberries)
INGREDIENTS
250ml milk
80g flour
125g sugar
1 pinch sea salt
5 eggs
Vanilla essence or 25g vanilla sugar
60g butter in chilled cubes
500g blueberries
METHOD
Begin by making the mix for the Clafoutis which is essentially the same as a crepe batter. Warm the milk & butter in a saucepan.
Put 3 eggs, 2 egg yolks & 125g sugar in a bowl and whisk together.
Pour in the hot milk & butter. Mix well. Add the vanilla essence & a pinch of sea salt.
Sieve in the flour and mix slowly and well. Grate in a little lemon zest.
Meanwhile make a sugar syrup for the blueberries by heating water & sugar in a saucepan. Put the blueberries in the syrup when ready.
Butter and flour the bottom and sides of a cake tin and arrange blueberry mixture on the bottom. Then pour the clafoutis mix on top and bake in a preheated oven for 30-40 minutes at 180 degrees.
