Shenzhen is a former fishing village that has become part of a plan to create the world's first megalopolis of 40 million people, encompassing the whole of the Pearl River delta. At odds with this, is a tiny minority trying to restore and conserve its historic sites. The first of two programmes (programme two is missing).
