Musica15 is taking place in Belbroughton, between Bromsgrove and Kidderminster, and this weekend it's their seventh charity event.

It event is being staged in a giant marquee and there's two days of live music.

The event began as a birthday celebration for local resident Andy Mapp, raising money for local charities.

The June event raised £6,400 for the Acorns Children's Hospice and the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

This year's festival was a 2-day celebration which finished up with a fly past from the Red Arrows.
WestFest
There now appears to be three West Fests in 2015 - one in West Didsbury and one championing dance music!

But the one that takes our interest is the one that takes place in West Malvern once a year and promotes, encourages and showcases musicians, artists, craftspeople and performers from the local area.

It's a non-profit organisation, with proceeds distributed to organisations within the vicinity.

Eckstock
As we wind down to the evening you might want to have a few drinks, listen to some music, relax by the river and all in the name of helping a Worcestershire school.

If that sounds like a good way of spending a Saturday evening you might want to head to the picturesque village of Eckington as their music festival Eckstock is underway with 12 local bands, food, stalls, water zorbing...they've got it all.

The festival was set up by Friends of Eckington School and all the money raised goes to the school.

The team usually meet on the second and last Thursday of every month at the Catshill Club and say: "We pride ourselves on booking artists who entertain".

They've already booked Artisan, Colum Sands, Hat Fitz and Cara, Anthony John Clarke, Blackbeard’s Tea Party, Greg Russell & Ciaran Algar, Barlow Cree, Tosh Ewins, Fairfield and Stitherum for their 2015 event.

On Sunday 26 July, we'll be showcasing four acts for broadcast throughout August - and this year they've decided any money raised at the event will be donated to the British Heart Foundation.
