Bedford: Marginal seat reacts to Tory inheritance tax plans

As part of the programme's series covering 100 seats in the 100 days to the election, Zoe Conway speaks to voters in Bedford about Conservative inheritance tax plans.

Conservatives plan to remove family homes worth up to Β£1m from inheritance tax "supports the basic human instinct to provide for your children".

Voters feelings are mixed on the plans; Kamal Bad-ad attending the a local Hindu festival described the plans as "shocking".

"The Tory party are making the rich richer, and the rich are laughing all the way to the bank," he said.

The Malaglio family, pictured above, see the policy as beneficial for families.

"It's all about our parents helping us, us helping our children, helping our grandchildren and so on," one said.
