The Lake Oku clawed frog lives only in one lake at the top of a mountain in Cameroon, which is considered sacred by the local community. Until now it has never been bred in captivity, meaning the evolutionarily unique frog is at risk of disappearing if disease or predators hit the lake. Now, ZSL London Zoo has become the first zoo to successfully breed the frog in captivity. Ben Tapley is team leader of the herpetology section at ZSL London Zoo.

George Osborne has said a Conservative plan to remove family homes worth up to 拢1m from inheritance tax "supports the basic human instinct to provide for your children". It means more owners of homes in the UK would be able to pass them on to their children without paying tax. The policy is likely to be at the centre of the Tory election manifesto. Malta has narrowly rejected proposals to ban controversial spring hunting, during which migrating birds are shot before they can breed. Those in favour of hunting won just over half the votes cast in the keenly-contested vote. Campaigners for the ban have conceded defeat. Bill Oddie is a bird watcher & supporter of ban on bird hunting and a supporter of League Against Cruel Sports's campaign in Malta.

One of the leading authors on childbirth Sheila Kitzinger MBE has died at her home in Oxford aged 86. In the 1960s she developed the 鈥渂irth plan鈥 which aimed to give pregnant women greater choice in the birth of their babies.聽 She was also a strong advocate of home and natural births. She came to be seen as a pioneer in her field and received an MBE for her work. Elizabeth Duff is a senior policy adviser at the National Child Birth Trust and Professor Wendy Savage was the first woman consultant to be appointed in obstetrics and gynaecology at the London Hospital.

As fighting continues in eastern Ukraine, the German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier, French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin will meet today to discuss the implementation of the Minsk ceasefire agreement reached in February 2015. Our Diplomatic correspondent Bridget Kendall reports.

Simon Jack鈥檚 father took his own life at the age of 44. Now the same age, Simon has been speaking to men who have overcome suicidal thoughts and asks why more middle aged men kill themselves than any other group. Our business presenter Simon Jack.

In an attempt to break away from Labour鈥檚 past, it promises fiscal responsibility, guaranteeing that every policy will be fully funded and will involve no extra borrowing. Simon Ostrovsky is a Russian-born American investigative reporter for Vice. He was held hostage for four days by pro-Russian militia last year while reporting from Eastern Ukraine.

Viv Nicholson, who became famous overnight when she said she would "spend, spend, spend" a 拢152,000 Pools win in 1961, has died aged 79. Mrs Nicholson and her husband Keith, from Castleford, West Yorkshire, took just three years to spend their prize money - equivalent to 拢3.5m today. Steve Brown was the composer and lyricist for 鈥楽pend, Spend, Spend鈥 鈥 a musical based on the life of Viv Nicholson which premiered in 1999 鈥 who met her while writing the musical.
