As part of our series covering 100 seats in 100 days ahead of the election, Justin Webb went to Leicester, a success story in multiculturalism and a Labour stronghold.

At the Leicester Peepul's Centre, members of the Nupur Arts dance academy, pictured above, say many vote the same way as others in the community, but others want to vote depending on their own informed decisions.

"In my household a lot of my family are Labour, but for me I think I want to take my own decision, not based on what my family think and I think a lot of my friends are the same," one of the dancers said.

A local businessman, Ravi Karia, says immigration has helped him fill roles at his business he previously struggled to and praised the current government's work with businesses which has helped him to compete.

"The beauty with Leicester is it's multicultural, and because of that we're able to tap into the diverse workforce that's allowed us to compete on a global scale," he said.

"The current government for me has been pretty positive from grants, from the reduction of corporation tax, have helped our company," he added.
