Leicester: The City Festival
What was once a car park situated right outside the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Leicester studios, has been transformed into what is now known as Jubilee Square.
The new park was host to The City Festival that took place in August. The inaugural cosmopolitan carnival in Jubilee Square came alive with a cultural fusion of every imaginable art form including music, dance, spoken word and comedy.
Local music stars Carol Leeming, Bizzi Dixon and Echo Marley are just some of the acts that performed, and Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Leicester's Kevin Ncube was there to find out what people thought.
