Weather presenter Carol Kirkwood takes a journey along the new Forth and Clyde Canal extension

The Kelpies, two giant steel horses鈥� heads representing the origins of the Forth and Clyde canals have recently opened to the public. They signal a bright future for the canals which have undergone a massive 拢41 million pound regeneration. Thanks to a new extension thousands of sailors and holidaymakers will enjoy a stunning journey from one side of Scotland to the other. Weather presenter Carol Kirkwood took a journey along the canal鈥檚 new beginnings on the River Carron near Grangemouth.
