WW1 recruitment campaign

How the drive to recruit more men was led by the most famous soldier alive, Herbert Horatio, Lord Kitchener, the new Minister of War. The speed, scale and nature of the recruitment process are shown and discussed. The campaign is illustrated with contemporary posters. The techniques and motives of the campaign are looked at. Examples include Pals regiments and the use of guilt. Training is shown and its effectiveness is judged.
