Craig Mathieson: Extended Interview
Shereen speaks with Scottish explorer Craig Mathieson.
He's been to the ends of the earth and back - now Craig Mathieson has a new role in mapping out the future for budding explorers in Scotland. The adventurer is the first ever 'explorer in residence' at the Royal Scottish Geographical Society. In 2004 he successfully led the first dedicated Scottish Expedition to the South Pole, man-hauling his sledge 730 miles over the Antarctic Continent - and says he hopes to inspire the next generation of youngsters desperate to travel the world.
