Living on a flight path
Local residents share their views on the proposed expansion of Heathrow Airport. The economic benefits are clear, with 33,000 people already employed by the airport, but local people are more concerned about how it will affect them and those they care about - for better or worse.
Jackie stands to lose both her business and her home if the plans go ahead, while local pub landlord Cliff is optimistic about a potential increase in customers. Kathryn Harper-Quinn, Head Teacher at a nearby school, worries that the additional noise pollution which already affects 725,000 people, will have a negative impact on her students.
