How do planes fly?
Dallas looks at the conflicting forces at work as a plane takes off - weight, thrust, drag and lift. He focuses his attention on lift in particular with expert help. Peter Barrington, an Aeronautical Engineer at Kingston University, helps Dallas understand how lift works, using a wind tunnel and a machine that measures air pressure.
