Recycled sculptures
Artist David Kemp shares the sculptures he makes of birds and animals from stone and reclaimed materials. He uses objects like hot water bottles for animal tongues and demonstrates how to change an old pair of shoes into a deer and rusty machinery parts into cats, lizards and other animals. The audience is encouraged to look at old things in a new way, as David shows how he made two rowing boats into a whale sculpture and ends with how to make a beetle out of a piece of an old tyre and some broken glasses.
