Wheelchair dancers
Wheelchair basketball is referenced in a choreographed sequence performed by three male dancers in wheelchairs. The set design evokes the markings and goal area of a basketball court. Three wheelchair dancers move in time to a piece of electronic music. The dance incorporates moves and gestures from basketball: turning, pivoting and reaching for the ball to score. The interplay between the dancers shows subtle changes in relationships and territorial areas.
