Dance party in the 1980s
A costumed re-enactment of a dance party in 1980. Break-dancing evolved on the streets of America in the 1970s, and became a worldwide craze in the early 1980s. We watch a break-dancing face-off. Break-dancing involves the dance elements of toprock, downrock, freezes and power moves. Boys and girls take turns to show off their moves on the vinyl mat in an impressive, athletic mix of dance and gymnastics.
