John Adams (b.1947) - The Chairman Dances
Andrew Manze conducts the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Scottish Symphony Orchestra in a piece by the minimalist composer John Adams. This piece uses lots of harmony and rhythm, but no melody. It is made of lots of music which is repeated. The orchestra uses all the instruments including piano, harp, and lots of percussion including vibraphone and glockenspiel.
