Population movement to Tudor towns
Movement of people from the countryside to the town generated problems with overcrowding and waste disposal. Documents from 1583 and 1584 show how rubbish was dealt with in Shrewsbury. We visit a typical Tudor country house and learn that most people actually remained in the countryside.
