A drama-documentary based on the personal testimony of 17-year-old Shaun. As a young teenager, Shaun started to abuse drugs and alcohol. His self-destructive behaviour meant he got into lots of fights and often found himself in trouble with the police. From the ages of 15-17 he was in a relationship where he often took out his stress and frustration on his girlfriend causing them to split up several times. The turning point for Shaun came when he faced a custodial sentence – he was tagged and put on a programme of counselling that has helped him to sustain a healthier relationship. The film is based on an actual interview but for the safety of the interviewee, names have been changed and the words are spoken by actors.
