Love Hurts
Love Hurts shows how relationships can go wrong and end up being emotionally or physically hurtful. The stories cover control and violence, and risky behaviour online.
Introduced by Radio 1's Sunday Surgery resident counsellor, Dr Aaron Balick, Love Hurts shows how relationships can go wrong and end up being emotionally or physically hurtful.
Young men and women speak about their experiences of damaging and abusive relationships. Their stories are about jealousy, possessiveness, control and violence, risky behaviour online and the dangers of Facebook. The films tell how they found people to confide in and moved on.
Dr Balick puts the films in context and offers advice and insight. These young people wanted to tell their stories, but for their own safety they could not be identified. Their names have been changed and their words are spoken by actors.
