Growing food in Valencia
An introduction to Valencia's central market and its food growing region, where water is strictly controlled. The expression for 'What would you like?' is introduced. We see many items for sale in the central market, including fish, prawns, eels, vegetables and fruit. We then see the local area where much of the fruit and many of the vegetables are grown. We hear how water is rationed and learn about the water tribunal that meets once a week and uses the Valencian dialect.
