Western culture and fashion reach Shanghai (pt 3/3)

A blend of Eastern and Western culture has made Shanghai a highly desirable international focal point. Wang Lei takes inspiration from this and decides to fuse the two cultures at the annual Shanghai Hair Show, by bringing Chinese restraint and Western daring together. He puts on an impressive show where the stage decor reflects the two separate cultures - silk screens for Chinese traditionalism and steel frames for Western modernity. He's hailed a success and it's exposure at high-profile events such as this that has propelled Wang Lei to the forefront of Shanghai's hair-styling scene. He's undoubtedly ambitious.
