Former IRA secret agent Raymond Gilmour fears for his health and life

Raymond Gilmour was a secret agent who infiltrated the IRA on behalf of British security services.

Now based in the South East, he says he has been abandoned by those he loyally served and left to live destitute with severe mental health problems.

Mr Gilmour lives under a false identity, having passed on sensitive information about IRA military operations in the 1970s and 1980s.

He says he lives is fear of assassination despite being responsible for saving many British lives.

Also on the programme, Medway Council expects the number of dementia sufferers in Medway to double in the next twenty years.
