Are you a snob if you oppose new village homes?

Six new houses will be built in the centre of Penshurst, a pretty historic village near Tonbridge. The decision follows a long-running and pretty toxic row. Many villagers have come together behind the Save Forge Field campaign. They are angry that a green space at the heart of the village is going to be lost.
