The Autumn pony round-up
In the Carneddau Mountains of North Wales an ancient tradition of pony gathering takes place each Autumn. Local farmers corall the ponies off the mountains to check on the health of the herd. Renee joins them for the event, helping to guide the wild ponies down the hill by running after them. Once at the nearby farm, the ponies are sorted and the young stallions and old mares are separated off and taken to a special conservation reserve.
