New Northampton homeless facility, dementia awareness and tributes to Robin Gibb

A new Β£5m multi-agency facility for the homeless opens in Northampton, plus a call for greater awareness of dementia, the world's hottest sausage and tributes to Robin Gibb.

As homeless people move into Oasis House, a new Β£5m facility in Northampton, reporter Rebecca Dickson meets residents, the Northampton Borough councillor responsible for housing and representatives of some of the agencies based there.

A survey for the Alzheimer's Society says more than four-in-10 people know or have known someone with dementia. Stuart talks to Joanne Beaney from the Alzheimer's Society and to Mike French from Paulerspury whose wife has Alzheimer's.

Reporter Paul Ennever visits Trendall's Butchers in Oundle. They have produced the Pork Inferno Sausage which they claim is the hottest sausage in the world.

The Mayor of Corby, Gail McDade, talks to Stuart about the response on Twitter to the hashtag #corbylife, Janice Tillett from Northampton won two medals for swimming at the 1992 Barcelona Games and looks ahead to the London 2012 Paralympics which start in 100 days, plus listeners memories of the Bee Gees as tributes are paid to Robin Gibb who's died at the age of 62.
