Are the Olympics good for Kent? It is 147 days to go until the Opening Ceremony. Kent County Council's head of culture and sport says KCC could not have done more and is the top local authority for securing a positive legacy from the Olympics.

Tourism bosses reckon we will get an extra 拢300m before, during and after the Games. The theory is that people who stay here or pass through will be so impressed they will come back for another visit.
