Is your council tax value for money?

If you live in Dover, Tonbridge and Malling, Gravesham or Tunbridge Wells you will probably be paying more council tax next year. All four councils have indicated that they want you to pay more next year despite pressure from the government, which thinks all council tax should be frozen for the next twelve months.

Are councils trying to raise as much money as possible so they do not have to cut services? Or are they being selfish, making you pay more, when the chances are you have not had a pay rise and your other outgoings like electricity, gas and food shopping have all gone up?

Do you think your council tax is value for money? Is it a fair way to pay for local services like policing and rubbish collection, libraries, country parks and social care?

When is the right time to go back to work after having a baby?

Amanda Holden was back filming auditions for Britain's Got Talent at the weekend. As you probably know she had a baby three weeks ago and was in intensive care for several days.

Is three weeks to soon to be back at work? How long did you have off after your baby was born?

We hear your views, opinions and stories.
