Faversham man demands apology from Kent Police

A man who organised a birthday party in a field near Faversham is demanding an apology from Kent Police, after officers arrested 4 guests and seized sound equipment claiming it was an illegal rave.

Joshua Buggins, from Canterbury claims he was threatened with a taser and his friends were pepper sprayed, despite having permission for the party from the landowner (06:07, 07:07 or 08:07.)

Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Kent has learned that Kent County Council has 10 million pounds invested in the troubled Belgian bank Dexia. The bank is heavily exposed to debts from Greece and investors have been selling shares in Dexia over the last few days.

It follows Kent's investment of 50 million pounds in Icelandic banks before they collapsed in 2008. The council should find out later this month how much of that it will eventually get back. But given the fragile state of the Eurozone economy the question is will that happen? (07:22 and )8:22)

Tributes have been flooding in for the ex-Kent and England bowler Graham Dilley, who passed away yesterday after a short illness, he was just 52.

In his illustrious career, he played 41 times for England, and is famous for his part in the tail-end batting in the Botham Ashes of 1981.
