Former MI5 head: Torture is 'wrong and never justifed'
The use of torture is "wrong and never justified" says the ex-head of MI5. Baroness Eliza Manningham-Buller said it should be "utterly rejected even when it may offer the prospect of saving lives".
She made the comment in her second Reith Lecture, entitled Security, recorded in Leeds in September 2011.
