Domesday reloaded

Tim Gollins head of digital preservation at the National Archives in Kew explains how the Domesday project will live on.

All this week, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Berkshire's Anne Diamond has been telling you about Domesday Reloaded, the new website from the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ, with some great images and stories from Berkshire and all around the UK.

It's bringing back to life the original Domesday Project from the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ which the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ ran 25 years ago, with a million people taking part.

But the website, at bbc.co.uk/domesday, is just the start. The project will live on, with the material eventually being linked with the digital National Archive in Kew.

Tim Gollins is head of digital preservation at the National Archives in Kew.
