Domesday reloaded: Mapledurham House

We travel back to 1986 and find out what was said about Mapledurham House in 1986 as part of the Domesday reloaded project.

This week we are celebrating the launch of the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Domesday reloaded. It's a special project that brings you a snap shot of 1986 where you live.

If you head to bbc.co.uk/domesday, you can see what people in your area were doing in 1986..

One of the entries on the domesday site talks about a local house you may well know… Mapledurham House.

Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Berkshire's Anne Diamond was joined by Corry Starling, the assistant miller, estate water bailiff and one of the team who takes care of the country park.

She asked him about the village that surrounds the estate.
