Delroy Grant sentencing, heroic Gurkha soldier and TV chef Simon Rimmer
Delroy Grant, known as the Nightstalker, receives four life sentences for attacking elderly people. Kent-based Gurkha soldier, Acting Sergeant Dip Pun, is awarded for his heroism in Afghanistan.
Delroy Grant who preyed on the elderly in their own homes, subjecting them to rapes and sexual attacks, over a 17-year-period is jailed for life. He became known as the Night Stalker, attacking hundreds of people in Kent, Surrey and south London.
A Kent-based Gurkha soldier is awarded the Conspicuous Gallantry Cross for his heroism in Afghanistan. Acting Sergeant Dip Pun single-handedly fought off 12 Taliban fighters under intense fire, and saved the lives of three of his comrades.
